THE ORIGINAL. STILL THE BENCHMARK.
In a market full of imitators, only one name stands above the rest: KAP & Sons. We are the original Jimny pickup specialist, having pioneered the conversion in the UK back in 1993 and being the first to compete in a Jimny pickup.
Our tagline says it all—often copied, never bettered.
But our reputation is built on more than heritage. It is built on an obsessive commitment to quality that begins the moment a donor vehicle enters our workshop.
OFTEN COPIED.
NEVER BETTERED.
WHAT SETS A KAP VEHICLE APART?
Every build is approached as a complete vehicle, not a collection of bolt-on parts.
TOTAL STRIP-DOWN & RESTORATION
We don’t just bolt on parts; we start with a bare shell and restore every aspect to a standard that exceeds new. Axles are blasted and treated, the chassis is painted and protected with Black Raptor coating, and the shell is fully refurbished.
BRAND NEW COMPONENTS THROUGHOUT
From brakes to batteries to radiators, every wearable component is replaced with new, high-quality parts. We don’t cut corners on safety or reliability.
ATTENTION TO DETAIL YOU CAN SEE
We finish our engine bays in full body colour, not primer. New front panels are fitted to every vehicle. These details may seem small, but they demonstrate the pride we take in every build.
INNOVATION, NOT IMITATION
We are the innovators who created the original Jimny pickup in the UK. While others copy our designs, they can never replicate our passion, expertise, or commitment to excellence.
THE DIFFERENCE IS IN THE DETAIL
